Kumamoto Oyster

Kumamoto oysters are cultivated in in Puget Sound’s Oakland Bay (WA), Humboldt Bay (CA), and Baja, Mexico. They are deep-cupped with petite meats, have a mild brininess, sweet flavor and a honeydew finish. Oyster is the common name for a number of different families of salt-water bivalve molluscs that live in marine or brackish habitats. The high levels of omega-3 fatty acids found in oysters have been linked to improved cognitive function, making them a great food for those looking to support their brain health. Additionally, oysters are a great source of zinc, which is essential for immune system function.
